The New Orleans Metro Stars is a 501c3 Non-profit Youth Development Program. For over 30 years, the Metro Stars have been teaching the youth of the New Orleans Metropolitan area the importance of positive behaviors such as goal setting, healthy eating, and positive body image through the sport of Track and Field. Over the years, we have seen many lives changed through this program.

Our goal for the 2023 Season is to have all of our athletes qualify for and travel to the AAU Junior Olympic Games in Greensboro, NC. With over 70 athletes between the ages of 6 and 18, this will be an extreme financial undertaking. Many of our athletes come from low-income homes and struggle just to pay registration fees and a few have never even left the state. Travelling to Nationals is an eye-opening opportunity which we do not want any of our athletes to miss.

Your donation to our sponsor t-shirt program is tax deductible (Tax ID #72-1401520) and will go directly towards purchasing uniforms, equipment, and towards travel fees for the AAU Jr Olympic Games. The shirts will be worn by the athletes and coaches on Meet days, which are almost every Saturday from May to the end of July, and to the AAU Jr Olympic games in Humble, Texas.
